Nike needed a way to serve all of its various wholesale customers, from national sporting goods chains to your mom and pop outdoor store. Depending on the size of the wholesale customer, the buying experience differs. The largest of customers often get full-blown catwalk shows, but Nike needed something that could cover the widest range of wholesale buyers.

R/GA was tasked with re-imagining and redesigning that experience on their Nike.net platform. Built on a legacy platform, we were challenged with keeping consistencies with the Nike 1.0 brand of old while still taking cues from the newest and most current Nike visual styleguide.

The other major task was making the system flexible to ensure the best experience per customer size. Some markets have access to a more slimmed down experience while others are served much more granular details.
